The economic landscape is improving, Florida continues to grow, and well drillers are in high demand. This course is designed to help drillers become Florida licensed water well contractors; and it’s also a great refresher for those already licensed. Don’t get left behind in Florida’s well contracting business boom! The course will cover licensing requirements, applicable rules and regulations, test structure, and study tips for each topic covered on the exam.

This presentation will be offered as a hands-on demonstration. A generic presentation for all brands of underwater cameras to be able to make a perfect video in the muddiest/dirtiest water.  This seminar will cover issues such as the history of underwater cameras, different areas of uses of underwater cameras, several different techniques to see in “cloudy water”, lighting issues, retrieving items in boreholes, suspended solids and flocking agents to clear a well, digital recording and marketing your camera and company as a new source of profit.

In addition, updates will be shared by Water Systems Council and National Ground Water Association.

Solar Water Solutions (1 S/B CE Credit)

In this course we will explore solar pumping technology.  We will discuss types of solar controllers for pumps and different pump technologies.  We will discuss information required to appropriately select a solar pump for a specific application and discuss the limitations of solar pumping.  Participants should leave with a better understanding of how to discuss solar pumping options with end users that desire to pursue solar as an option.

This session will cover an update on any new laws or rules impacting the water well contractor and their businesses, important items that drivers and owners can do as preventative measures to ensure they are following proper DOT laws, explanation of when drives/businesses need to follow the different laws (example: within 100 mile radius, 150 miles, over 10,000 lbs., over 26,000 lbs., interstate vs intrastate, etc.)
